These weekly worship bulletins invite children (elementary age) to engage in worship through coloring, storytelling, reading, and drawing. Each week’s bulletin includes a quilt square design to color, an invitation to listen for words as they are spoken in worship, a colorable image of each week’s focal text, space to draw and color in response to prompts, and a prayer.

about the bulletins:
In addition to worship bulletins, this resource can also be used in Sunday School or at home. Our goals with the children’s bulletins are to help children, ages 5 to 12, engage in many aspects of worship. On page 1, children are introduced to the main idea for the week. On pages 2 and 3, children listen for words from the scripture as they are spoken in worship and engage with the story through coloring. Finally, on page 4 children reflect on the main idea for the week through drawing and prayer.
Download includes:
7 full-color PDF children’s bulletins for the First–Fourth Sundays in Advent, Christmas Eve, the First Sunday After Christmas, and Epiphany Sunday.
Note: Though we have not created black and white versions of these children’s bulletins, they can be printed in grayscale to save on printing costs.
How to use the Children’s bulletins:
Print the bulletins on 8.5x11 paper and fold in half to create an 8.5x5.5 children’s bulletin.
Place the bulletins at the entrance to your worship space and/or in children’s worship bags.
Include the bulletins in Sunday School or take-home activity bags.
