In the wilderness our faith is born, nurtured, challenged, and resurrected. This Lent, journey through the wilderness with our devotional booklet. Beginning with Ash Wednesday and ending with Easter Sunday, this devotional includes art, poetry, prompts, and reflections inspired by the Lenten lectionary scriptures (year A) and the theme, Wilderness.
We hope you will carve out space each week to complete the readings, coloring, and journaling at your own pace. May this weekly devotional help you discover the many layers of the wilderness—and in these layers may we find meaning and the courage to carry on.
This booklet is great for older youth and adults of all ages, though young children could help color in the coloring pages.
NEW REVISED VERSION: This file has been revised so that it no longer includes dates from 2020. All dates have been removed so that you can use this devo for any season. We encourage you to start it on Ash Wednesday and continue weekly through Easter!

Printing Info:
Print the devotional on 8.5x11 sheets to fold into an 8.5 x 5.5 booklet. Print the PDF under landscape orientation, double-sided, and choose "short edge to short edge," "flip to short edge," or "head to head" for the correct layout. The PDF is arranged so that you can easily fold the pages in half, staple or bind them down the middle, and voila! You have a beautiful devotional.
