About the EMBODIED Unbound theme:
"The goal for this logo was to expand on the imagery used for our Lent EMBODIED branding while referencing imagery from Mark’s version of Easter morning. . . . For this icon, I decided to keep the outward rays of the EMBODIED icon and transform the inside to represent the stone rolled away from the tomb with light pouring into that dark, bleak, hopeless space. What I found as I created this image was that the perspective of the image can be interpreted as either looking out from inside the tomb with sunlight pouring in, or also from outside the tomb looking in as the emptiness of the tomb breaks out in bright hope."
