This Advent season, let words be your beginning each day. This year, we have two Advent calendars—one for children and young families, and one for older teens and adults.

Our children's calendar is printable on 11x17 paper and is designed for coloring. Starting December 1st, countdown the days by coloring a shape in our Advent quilt that includes a daily word. Discuss the meaning of each word together as a family and try to use it throughout the day.

Our adult (and teen-friendly) calendar is a photo-a-day challenge. Share the image on your church Instagram or Facebook page as an invitation for your community to take a photo inspired by the word of the day. The daily words are the same for both calendars so all ages can engage in this daily practice.

Therefore, the download includes:
